What is eXp Realty and how does it work?

eXp is a cloud-based brokerage. You work virtually with access to state broker support, a full tech stack, live training, and opportunities to earn stock and revenue share. Our team layers on operations, marketing systems, and mentorship so you can focus on production.

Is eXp Realty a good fit for new agents?

Yes. You’ll get mentorship, weekly live classes, and hands-on help from our ops team during onboarding and your first transactions.

How does revenue share work?

Sponsor agents into eXp and earn a portion of the company dollar from their closings (not from their personal split), up to seven tiers. It’s a scalable, recurring income stream alongside your sales business.

What training do I get?

Dozens of live eXp classes each week, plus our team’s weekly meeting rhythm, CRM and scripting sessions, strategy coaching, masterminds, and recorded playbooks.

Do I need a physical office?

No—work from anywhere. Connect with brokers, admins, and teammates via the cloud. We also host in-person meetups and events across the islands.

What are the split, cap, and monthly fees?

Standard eXp split is 80/20 with a $16,000 annual cap, then you keep 100% for the rest of your cap year. Typical fees: $149 one-time start, $85 monthly tech. Team programs can reduce your effective costs—ask us for the current team breakdown.

Which tools are included?

kvCORE CRM, Skyslope (TC), eXp Enterprise dashboards, and marketing resources. Our team adds Follow Up Boss/Ylopo (where applicable), templates, scripts, and Canva assets.

Can I build a team at eXp?

Yes. You can scale locally or across multiple states with compliant branding and shared systems—while also benefiting from revenue share.

What is the ICON Agent Award?

Top producers who cap and meet production and cultural requirements can earn up to $16,000 back in company stock through ICON.

Can I keep my personal or team brand?

Yes. Keep your identity while following eXp’s compliance guidelines. We’ll provide templates and review for brand consistency.

Revenue share vs. profit share—what’s the difference?

Revenue share (eXp) is paid off the top from gross company dollar. Profit share is paid after expenses, so it’s often smaller or less consistent.

How fast can I onboard?

Usually 3–7 business days depending on license transfers and MLS paperwork. Our ops team tracks every step so you start producing quickly.
